Colours swirled and clashed around him in what felt like a wormhole right out of a sci-fi television show, he wasn't sure how long he had been in the grip of the swirling vortex but when it eventually released him from its grasp he hit the ground with a thud and a low groan. Fortunately he had been prepared for it this time, having already gone through five similar landings while tracking Michael's travels through the multiverse.
Pushing himself up onto his hands and knees, he turned his head and quickly pulled himself to his feet, pulling his glock 26 and aiming it at the still open vortex of the wormhole. Normally it closed right after him, but this time he knew he had been followed by something, as the scythe armed daemon leapt from the wormhole it closed behind the creature as Chris unloaded the runed bullets into its body. It didn't stand a chance as the new model he had invented literally exploded inside the daemon, leaving nothing but a mess of body parts to turn to dust.
Letting out a sigh of relief he looked around, he was near a group of abandoned factories near the water in what he recognised to be New York from the view in the distance of towering skyscrapers and the sounds of traffic even from this far out. Making his way into the shelter of one of the factories he pulled out his Midnight Society communicator, it was his only hope of finding Michael because he had no way of tracking him beyond what universes he had ventured to, he only hoped he had kept his communicator.
"This is first lieutenant Cristofer Bessette!" he said, holding down the communicator's button. "Come on, Major! Wake up! It's pretty chilly here in New York you know."
Back in the ship, Chris' voice came clearly through Michael's communicator, but Michael wasn't on board at the time he was out because it was hit turn to do the 'shopping' as they called it which meant collecting weapons and supplies for the ship, and not necessary paying for it either. The communicator was sat on the ship's control panel, where Michael always kept it on the off chance anyone from back home tried to contact him, this was the first time anyone had.

Joseph paced across the bridge on-board the ship while playing his violin - a soft melody flowing from the strings which carried itself gracefully to other nearby parts of the ship. He often spent his spare time doing this these days, preferring the accoustics on the bridge to his own room. He was dressed in loose-fitting jeans and a sleevless t-shirt: casual, comfortable clothes he found easy to feel relaxed in, unlike most of his other clothes which were more stylish than comfortable.
When the voice came over the communicator he paused in his playing and looked around to see if anyone else was there. After concluding that he was the only one within earshot, he walked to the communicator and cleared his throat. He held down the button on the communicator and spoke into the reciever, "Hello? This is Joseph..uhh, private Williamson, I suppose? Michael's not here right now, so can I take a message? Over."

Chris looked at his communicator for a moment and raised an eyebrow, the English voice wasn't one he recognised, but apparently he had finally found the universe Michael had settled in. He lifted the communicator again and pressed the button, his French accent much clearer this time as he gave a small smirk, "Well 'ello there, cutie. Don't you have a nice voice." he said, hint of teasing in his tone. "If Michael isn't about, maybe you can come an' pick me up?"
His eyes flashes with mischief, his finger still on the button he heard a clatter behind him, swinging around he came face to face with three admittedly smaller hellhounds who seemed to be slobbering at the thought of chewing on his bones. "Ah, Joseph," he said, the pronunciation of the name sounding much more French than English. "I may need a little bit of 'elp."
He released his finger from the button on the communicator and shoved it back into its holster on his belt, unsheathing his officer's sabre because he had wasted the remainder of his last clip of bullets on the daemon that had followed him through the portal between universes. "Now let's not be 'asty, little doggies. I don't think you would like me as a chew toy."

"Uhh..hello? Hellooo?"
Joseph squinted at the communicator as it went silent. Christofer said he needed help, but Joseph wasn't entirely sure exactly how much help he could give him. He scratched his chin as he thought for a moment.
"If I might offer some advice, Joseph - perhaps you should let me fly you to this poor gentleman. He obviously is in some form of peril, plus it sounds like he wants to play with your unmentionables."
Joseph blushed slightly and widened his eyes.
"Pendant..just take me to him, and cut the crap." "Well he did say you have a nice voice. That's universal code for "I'd tap that". Didn't you know?"
The pair continued to argue for the few short minutes that it took the ship to get to the outskirts of New York. Joseph picked up the pistol which Michael had given him and a magazine filled with runed bullets on his way out from the ship. He saw the hellhounds closing in on Christofer. He took aim at the closest of the three and fired once. The round connected with the beast's skull, sending it crumpling to a heap on the ground before being reduced to ash.
"Christofer, I presume?"

Sarah woke up from her deep slumber just recovering from a mutliverse illness that had caused her to be bed ridden for a good month. She had no fever anymore and seemed to be in a much better state, her blonde hair slightly wet from the delerious nightmare she had witnessed. Walking shakily out of her room she moved down the hall way noticing the ship had come to a stand still. Pulling a black leather jacket over her red jumper that came down to her thighs with her tanned legs bare and feet bare she walked down the ship towards Joseph standing behind him as she focused on the new man with a quirked brow and an attempted smile. As usual this came across alot more sinister than she had wanted but she was far too sleepy to care, resting her chest ontop of Joseph's head she wrapped her arms around his neck turning her head to the other Demons. "Tut..tut..tut."

As the bullet reduced one of the hellhounds to ash, Chris took the opportunity to bring his sword down on the head of what had previously been the middle hellhound, which also burst into ash due to the enchantments placed on the officer's sabres used in the society. The final one snarled and then turned, deciding it didn't want any more after the ship and Joseph had arrived, clearly the daemons were rather wary whenever the saw Michael's ship after he had denied Lucifer so openly.
"Oh! That was such good timing, Josef!" he exclaimed, pushing the sabre back into its sheathe and making his way over and grinning roguishly. "And there's my beauty! She's all in one piece, I thought Michael might 'ave broken 'er." He pushed past Joseph and Sarah into the ship without even waiting to be invited aboard, it was clear from his uniform that he belonged to the same society as Michael had back in his own universe.
"Ah, my baby. You are alright!" he said, rubbing the side of the wall.
"Oh good, he's French. Surrendering all around, alert the crew!" Pendant scoffed over the intercom.
"Oh, cheeky little AI." he said, putting his hands on his hips. "Don't you go sassing me, I might slip and turn you into dead memory."
"You can't do that." Pendant said, sounding defiant. "Can you...?"
Chris smirked and bolted for the controls, he merely placed his hand on it and the rattle in the engine that had been annoying the crew for a few days ceased immediately, he ran his fingers across the controls and the ship simply bolted from its position doing loop-de-loops in the air with the artificial gravity on so none of the crew would even notice. When the ship finally came to a stand still again, Chris was sat in the pilot's chair looking smug.
"If computers could cum... I think I just did." Pendant panted, "I've never been touched like that before!"
"What can I say? I'm magnificent. Now why don't you go and be quiet so I can talk to this pretty little one?" He spun the chair and stood up, looking directly at Joseph and taking a step toward him so that he was quite close. "Please, just call me Chris. Or Codey, that is what everyone called me back 'ome."

Joe squirmed slightly as Sarah wrapped her arms around him. He still felt too bashful around her for any prolonged amount of unnecisary physical contact, after all she was an attractive woman and he was a teenage boy. He blinked, looking slightly confused as Chris walked right by them and in to the ship as if he owned the place. He laughed at the exchange between Chris and Pendant, having managed to wriggle out of Sarah's grip and had begun following Chris through the ship.
When Chris suddenly rounded on him and stood so close, Joseph's cheeks turned an impressive colour of scarlet. He suddenly stood with his back perfectly straight and his arms bolted to the sides as if he had just stood to attention. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up and a few small beads of sweat trickled down his forehead. His throat had completely dried up in such a short space of time. He let out a small cough to try and clear his throat. "Uh, please..ahem..uh, make yourself at home, Chris. I..that is, we'll have to go pick up..uhh..what's-his-face..from...somewhere?" His voice broke several times as he spoke, the pitch changing rapidly, causing him to pause several times to clear his throat throughout his garbled nonsensical attempt at constructing a coherant sentance.

"O', you are so cute, stammering like that." he crooned, placing a finger under Joseph's chin and looking directly into his eyes. "I am going to like you."
He slid the finger from under his chin very slowly and his head raised, when his eyes fell upon Sarah he froze to the spot, staring at her as though she couldn't possibly be real. After a moment though he managed to step around Joseph, though his hand brushed over the boy's shoulder as he went intentionally, before it fell back down to his side. "So 'e managed to find you again, Sera." he said, his French accent putting no emphasis on the 'h' much as it didn't with Joseph's name. "I am glad to know 'e 'as found 'appiness... unless I am misinterpreting the situation."
"No, they're boning." Pendant said flatly.
"'Ow disrespectful, you should be polite to 'er." he shot back, and Pendant immediately shut up again. Chris gave her a smile and then looked between them both, curious. "So where is Michael?"

Sarah followed the two into the ship sighing lightly as she leaned against the cold metal wall looking at the new commer with a half raised brow. As he seemed to know who she was a frown crept onto her face, she had grown a distaste for her counter parts life being connected to her own. It caused a great darkness at the bottom of her heart as she felt constantly foreshadowed by this intertwination of fate, still she stared at the french man then back to Joseph staying silent even during Pendant's joke. Her mind had seemed to wondered until she blinked a few times and pushed back some of her now drying hair. "Michael has gone to collect supplies, I'm going to bed and will leave you three alone, don't rip Joseph a new one he's too young for that." With that she retreated back to her room that she shared with Michael sitting on her bed cuddling a large brown teddy bear that sat snug between her breasts and scrunched to her lap giving her something to hold onto. 'Hurry up Michael...' Collapsing back she sighed, to her Michael understood how she felt perfectly and knew she'd feel safer with him back. She had left her guard up like a sixth sense to make it harder to read her mind but the clear emotion of disgust had languished her expression as well as her mind before she left.

Joseph watched as Sarah left, having to fight back the urge to abandon the newcomer entirely. "That's just bad manners", he thought to himself. He rubbed his left arm with his right hand in a very shy manner and looked down at the floor, cheeks still flushed bright red. "So, Chris, umm...do you want some tea, or coffee, or anything else?" He mumbled as he spoke - not even realising he was doing so. He opened his mouth as if to speak again, but simply walked straight past Chris, looking over his shoulder and blushing even more as his eyes wandered to below Chris' waistline, in order to pick up his violin which he had left on a chair. He began packing it back into its case while muttering to himself about how stupid he was in the broadest London accent he could muster in the hopes that Chris wouldn't understand him.

Chris frowned when Sarah left and came to the conclusion he should never bring up the Sarah from he and Michael's home universe again, Michael had clearly made a home here and a new life which also concerned him, perhaps he should not have come after all and brought all of his memories of universe 246 with him. His train of thought was broken by Joseph, who was asking him whether he wanted tea or coffee, the cheeky grin he had worn returned at 'something else'.
"Well, if you are offering," he teased, eyes seeming to shine seductively. "I wouldn't mind a little taste of something made in England."
His head tilted to one side when he saw Joseph packing away a violin, moving over he looked the violin over and ended up biting his lip while Joseph wasn't looking, he did love a man who could play music - especially a classical instrument. His eyes fell to him when he started to mutter and Chris leaned forward so that his face was very close to Joseph's ear, whispering faintly, "O', I do so love that accent."
While he spoke the ship was returning to the location they had left, Michael wasn't there waiting for them so he was clearly still picking up supplies. The ship simply touched down with the cloak active to remain hidden, Pendant was being eerily quiet compared to usual, clearly Chris had a strong sway over him for some reason.

Joseph gulped yet again, louder this time as his throat was now completely dry. He coughed and gulped for half a minute after Chris whispered so seductively in his ear, trying anything to regain the power of speech without having easy access to anything to drink. Finally, words returned as his throat calmed slightly, though he stammered and mumbled most of what he said, so that it was a semi-inaudible mess, "I..d..d..I..uhh...I like girls!...uhh..tea, yes. Tea..one lump? Two?" He attempted to swerve his way around Chris, giving him a nervous smile with his eyes closed, rubbing the back of his head with one hand and carrying his violin case in the other. He backed away slowly, still blushing and stammering, and now he also stooped forwards slightly to try and detract from the fact that the fabric around his nether regions had become significantly less baggy.
