This is an idea i've had for rp in the near future, perhaps once the forum has gone public as an introduction for new members to how Dragos works. This is just the basic idea so any suggestions would be good, and obviously wether anyone would actually be interested in doing it xD It would be based on a remote planet, possibly on the verge of a galaxy so as to have escaped attention. This planet would be controlled by a governing party which is essentially a front for a single immortal (or perhaps a small group). This person has used their power to manipulate the populace of the small planet, convincing them to place the immortal in a position of authority form where they could expand to control the entire government. This would have been in place for a significant period of time, likely several centuries, having escaped notice because of the planets obscurity and a tight control of it's citizens. The story would begin with a citizen of the planet (whom i would NPC) managing to escape and inform an Inquisitor of the situation. A company of Dragos members would then return to the world with the escapee to act as a guide in their efforts to overthrow the immortal tyrant. This would be made more difficult by the fact that the immortal has over time put in place a means of killing off the populace of the planet should their situation ever be discovered, meaning that while the Inquisitors could attack the immortal directly, they would risk their own lives as well as condemning the rest of the planet to death. This would force them to act undercover, working to either infiltrate the governance and gain access to the immortal or incite a global rebellion, all the while avoiding capture by the planet's military. This story could become quite long lasting depending on the approach taken, so could be good when more members are present. Any ideas on how it could work would be good, let me know if you like the sound of it

There's a huge issue in regards to renegade immortals being able to get away with anything any more. Now that Alaister has regained his powers and taken place as the Creator, there's no possible way any renegade immortal can exist. Corinthius gets away with it because he's targeting Melaer who are exempt from the protection of the laws of nature because they get involved in immortal affairs a lot.
But a race like that would not fall victim to one or a small group of immortals so easily either, and Alaister would just blink the immortal out of existence along with his/her fail safe.
But there are other major foes for dragos to face, the foe could be a group of powerful sorcerers, or even a group of strigoi which'd be interesting as strigoi are something dragos never really had any contact with except in one brief rp one time.

I hadn't really thought of that but Strigoi would probably work better, and have more of an incentive to control mortals in the first place. Would be interesting to have a police force made up of turned mortals too. I'll try and come up with a proper outline for it if you want.

That sounds pretty awesome, especially the police force of turned mortals. I look forward to seeing the proper outline.

Right, got about halfway through and ran out of written ideas (i have further thoughts in my head that i may be able to describe better at a later time) but this is the basic info, here to let people decide if they want to take part and if so, which characters to do so with. Since i only have 2 characters (at the moment anyway) and both are otherwise engaged, i'l mainly play the npcs the team encounter and their "guides", if the rp happens. /Outline!
Location: Ellrow, a small habited planet at the edge of the Terra galaxy. Its remote location allows it to remain virtually undetected by travellers, despite its space-faring capabilities. Scenario: Several centuries ago, Ellrow developed FTL drive. It made contact with several of its nearest neighbours, but before long communications abruptly stopped. Several scouts were sent to the planet, and each returned to their home planets reporting that the world was “experiencing political reforms” and that contact would be resumed when the personal matter was resolved. Over time, the planet was ignored, eventually becoming forgotten since the only inhabited worlds nearby were in neighbouring solar systems. Nothing was heard from the planet between then and now, and the situation would have remained that way had not an inhabitant of the planet come into contact with an Inquisitor of Dragos Midnight. The terrified woman explained that the so called political reforms were caused by a trio of strigoi. The exact details of their interference are unknown, as it is well beyond living memory for the moral inhabitants and the written records of the planet are constantly altered, however somehow the strigoi have placed themselves in positions of power and are controlling the entire planet through fear, effectively cultivating their own blood farm.
A group of Dragos Midnight operatives are to be dispatched to remove the threat, thus liberating the planets inhabitants.
Plot Progression • Dragos arrive in an overgrown area outside the planets main city, accompanied by the informant. The informant explains that they cannot use magic to teleport into the city, as a number of detection systems have been put in place, many of these magical themselves as the planets level of development resembles a post industrial world (similar to the Genii in Stargate Atlantis)It is also explained that the strigoi have over the years fitted a fast acting weapon (in the form of nerve gas, a disease that only affects mortals or something similar) that is used to remove any threats posed by rebel factions within the city. If immortal presence is detected, it is likely the strigoi will use these systems to murder the planets inhabitants and escape. While it is possible for them to gain easy access to the slum sections of the city, the central areas are controlled by checkpoints. It is explained that the strigoi have over the centuries turned a significant number of the population, using them as an intensely loyal police force. Any citizens that do not conform to the laws are hunted down by this force, usually being tortured before either being turned themselves or drained of blood. The informant escaped the city after learning of a rebel movement hidden in the long abandoned areas of the city, but is not sure where. The team is faced with the choice of either trying to locate these rebels or searching for a way to infiltrate the inner city. • Inside the city, the Inquisitors will stand out no matter how hard they try to blend in. This attracts the attention of the turned police but also of the resistance- before they can be question by the police, a member of the resistance will meet with them and try to convince them to accompany him to the resistance encampment. • If the Inquisitors accompany the man, they will be led to a fortified building on the outskirts of the city. The rebels have been waging guerrilla warfare for several decades, however there attacks have done too little damage for them to be a threat and do they have been largely ignored. They will have the option of training/improving the forces here, or continue as is. • If they do not investigate the rebels, they will ultimately be attacked by a squad of police enforcers. Unless someone choses otherwise, the Inquisitors would fight off the attack but the informant/guide is captured before they can free him/her.
