Affiliation: None officially, though has been known to favour Dragos Midnight and Vestigal factions.

Hair & Eyes: Jowan is blind, having lost both his eyes. He wears a blue scarf around his forehead to hide them. His hair is a fiery red, though usually mostly hidden beneath a hood.
Height & Weight: Jowan is rather short, around 5'5 and made to look more so by his tendency to stoop. He is very thin and as such relatively light.
Specific Details: Jowan's skin is rather pale, though it is not usually that noticeable. He usually dresses in long robes and a hood to hide himself and as such has few visible distinguishing features. However, he does have a faded tattoo-like marking on his forehead and another on his chest, which some would recognize as the markings of a Vestigal host. However, they lack the vibrance and aura of power such marks would normally carry, and are a dull blue-grey.

Personality: Jowan tends to keep to himself, only talking to others when he has to or to answer direct questions. When he does speak, he rarely says exactly what he means, preferring to speak in riddles. He is very eccentric, making him sometimes difficult to talk to.

History: Jowan was born on Asuren and lived in one of it's greatest elvin cities. As a mage, he spent most of his time studying magic and its many curiosities, which is how he came into contact with the Vestigal Nai'Koth. When his home was threatened with destruction, he chose to accept the Vestigal as part of him, hoping he could fight his impending doom and save his family. Sadly, this was not to be and he was forced to watch his wife and son die in his arms.

The memories of this drove him mad for a long time. He refused to accept them, forcing himself to forget his past and focus on the present. This meant that he became little more than a vessel for Nai'Koth, as Jowan himself was near impossiblt to interact with.

For a time, he stayed close to Dragos so as to prvide them with Nai'Koth's power, but after the war against Baelze both he and his passenger chose to explore the galaxy. Several thousand years later, the discovery of true multiverse travel allowed the Vestigals to access their realm, the Afterlight, with an ease they had never before experienced; they were now able to leave and return to it at will, making it possible for them to manifest without taking a host, at least temporarily. With this advance, Nai'Koth chose to leave Jowan, feeling that he had forced himself upon the elf and that he deserved to live free of the spirit. As a parting gift, he cast a variety of magics upon Jowan, granting him long life, protection from most dangers, and most importantly, sparked a growth in his mind that would ultimately allow it to heal itself.

Free of the Vestigal's influence, it took Jowan a long time to come to terms with his new life. Having reclaimed much of his mind and memories, he chose the life of the wanderer, travelling between worlds and exploring. His curiosity led him to learn as much as he could about anything he encountered, making him rather knowlegable about the universe. After a time he grew bored, and having become friendly with him joined the devil Corinthius on his ship the Voidclaw, where he served as a treasurer and magical consultant.

Since Corinthius' damnation, he has assumed command of the empty Voidclaw and set out to gather a crew for it, taking on the role of adventurer.
