Personality: Corinthius can be summed up as bipolar - his mood swings have made him quite a few enemies over the years. Constantly sarcastic, and never short of a comeback (even if it's a dreadful one), he enjoys a good argument. Quick to anger, and quicker to draw a knife to somebody's throat - he tends not to be somebody you'd keep around for too long.
Very rarely, Corinthius can show great amounts of respect to certain individuals, but this has to be earned. He has even gone so far as to lay his life on the line to defend a few people throughout his life - but don't expect this to happen all too often.
History:
Born on Asuren, Corinthius (then called Edward Vilhem) lived a simple life. The son of a farmer, he grew up oblivious to the lives and wars of the Immortal races. After his parents' deaths, he inherited their lands. These were quickly lost, however, as he soon built up substantial debts through gambling. Having no money, he was sworn into service with a group of mercanaries. He soon realised that he had quite an aptitude for killing and brewing deadly poisons. During this time, he took on a new name - Corinthius Vile. After growing bored with being a lackey to "idiotic morons", as he called them, Corinthius killed his debtors and became a freelance assassin. His reputation grew amongst the criminal underworld of Asuren, and he was informed by a stranger to seek out Isaan A'vron and his team.
Corinthius was accepted into Dragos Midnight and quickly worked his way up to the rank of Inquisitor while still a mortal. He accepted the gift of Immortality, after declining it for many years, in his endless endeavours to become the best he could be.
After the war against the Myr'aelaer, Corinthius grew distant from the rest of Dragos Midnight, preferring to go on assignments on his own, without backup. Eventually, he no longer felt the need to be tied to anyone again. To this end, he threw down the mantle of Inquisitor and Lord Assassin of Dragos Midnight and began travelling the universe. He came across his ship, The Voidclaw, adrift in space - its crew simply vanished, no trace of them left on-board. He quickly gathered a small crew and took to piracy.

"Take us in nice and slow. Don't want to attract too much attention now, do we?"
Cornithius' question was answered by muttered replies of "Yessir" and "No sir" from varying members of the crew of The Voidclaw. He sat back in his chair, blowing out a smoke ring then sipping some of his favourite rum. "That's what I like to hear." he grinned as he brought up a holoscreen with the casual wave of his hand. The tactical readings on the Melaer ship, Destiny, flickered on the display. Too big for the Voidclaw to attack head on, Destiny was a masterful piece of engineering - but so was the Voidclaw. Corinthius had "acquired" his ship a few centuries back, and he had never once had to retreat. The 'claw had the best cloaking systems out there, and could easily get close enough to any ship to enable its captain and his squad of Shadow Reavers to board.
Corinthius stood up and opened a comlink to his second in command, "Dannos, get the team ready. We're gonna have some fun."
The reply came almost immediately, "About time, captain."
Corinthius and his team assembled in a hexagonal room in the centre of the ship. Complete darkness surounded them as the doors closed behind them. Corinthius closed his eyes, the better to concentrate. The air turned thick and heavy as his powers extended through the room, into the dark void, and into Destiny's command deck. On-board Destiny, holo-displays and computer systems began shutting down, some instruments and sensor arrays began to explode. Chaos ensued on the command deck as Corin completed the Shadow Bridge - a technique of his own design which allowed him to transport himself and a few others to any location within a few hundred miles. The Shadow Reavers began to open fire as Corinthius walked casually towards Destiny's main control hub. The captain of the ship, a Melaer with one eye, unholstered his pistol and opened fire upon the Devil. The shots simply passed through Corin's body as he continued to walk slowly toward the captain. Now face-to-face with the Melaer captain, Corinthius smirked.
"Light's out, captain." Faster than light, Corin drew a single dagger and plunged it into the Melaer's chest. He let the body fall to the ground, and paused with a finger hovering over a single control on the main hub. "Gents, time to have some fun." He pressed the control.
The lights in the ship went out.
